Banyan Tree's 10 year old festival, Teen Prahar festival was conceived with the  intention to give music lovers across India an opportunity to enjoy a rare musical treat of unheard Raagas of various time zones of the day. Unlike other festivals, artists from three different stages of creative life (young talent, maestro-in-the-making & great masters) are featured on the same platform in Teen Prahar. Over the years Teen Prahar festival has evolved into one of the most awaited Indian Classical music festivals in the cities it has travelled to. This year the festival will be travelling to Bangalore apart from Mumbai. Staging some of the renowned maestros in the same evening this festival will also feature one of the talented young artists, Harsh Narayan who is grandson legendary Sarangi player Pt. Ram Narayan ji as part of the young blossoms. A unique Rhythmic delight will be presented Pakhawaj exponent Pt. Bhawani Shankar in collaboration with Rajasthani Khadtaal player Devu Khan and Mexican drummer Karina Colis. They will be joined by various other percussions. Amongst the classical music maestros Rahul Sharma, Rahul Deshpande and Ustad Shujaat Khan will present ragas from various Prahars of the day. Joining Rahul Sharma will be veteran Rajasthani Manganiyar singer Kachra Khan. Non member price:- Rs. 500 and 350. Member Price:- Rs. 350 and 250 respectively. Max. 2 tickets after showing the card.
